A glut of recordings just like I promised
January 18th, 2007I haven’t taped a lot of shows in the past few weeks. Part of that is being busy with friends and part of it is being busy with work (and part of that is the fact that I now have three jobs and I’m working 65 hours a week).
In any case, now is not the time to fret. Taping is still fun and I love doing it. I’m going to go to the Girl Talk show at the end of the month and stealth tape that. I might also tape Justin King at the end of the month as well. Then I’m doing Do Make Say Think, Annuals, and #12 Looks Like You in February, Red Sparowes in March, and who knows what else after that.
So anyway, like I promised before: here are some shows I taped but never put on the site. If you’re a fan of These Arms Are Snakes then you will enjoy this post. There should be something for everyone in this post, though, really.

i’m getting crc errors in hksfv for minus the bear.
i even downloaded it twice to double check.

I’m glad you’re back!
I think I’m kind of addicted because when your site was down, I kept checking twice a day to see if that ad page was gone…
Is the animal collective recording the same as the one you seeded (on dime maybe) in march & posted about on the collected animal board? There was a complete recording seeded as well but the sound wasn’t as good as yours.

Wow! This is incredible! I hit the Band Of Horses jackpot when I stumbled on this blog! (Well I didn’t actually stumble on it. I looked up what lives shows were available out there that were listed on etree and then I did a google search on “Band Of Horses Nuemos mp3” and came across your blog on the 2nd page. But lucky for me, the shows are in .flac which is way better!)
You are a very generous, kind soul for posting these early recordings! Talk about being in the right place at the right time with the right recording gear! Thanks again!
