Mates Of State – 2006-04-20
April 21st, 2006Quite a night of family duos. Openers Smoosh (who are sisters) and Viva Voce (who are married) set the stage last night for Mates Of State who remain the most adorable rock band in the history of whatever.
Their label, Barsuk, had a whole film crew at the show so you can imagine my surprise when venue security told me that audio recording was fine. Not only that, but a rep from the label approached me and got my contact information so that he could get a copy of my recording. I’m on my way to big things, folks. You heard it here first.

oh i meant someone on the fan group thing that went to the show, not the girls.
and when you tell people how to play flac i think you should just suggest winamp so they can burn gapless cds without converting, simple.
